Who We Are
SHIVAN SHINGALI General Trading Import & Export Co. Ltd. was established under a founding contract issued by the Company Registration Department in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, with registration number 34160 for the year 2023. The company is owned and managed by businessman SHIVAN SHINGALI.
Our business initially focused on importing essential food commodities such as flour, cooking oil, and other staple goods, in response to the increasing demand for these products in the Iraqi market.
The year 2024 was a milestone for our company as we took significant steps by entering the construction materials import sector. We established partnerships with distinguished suppliers, such as Formul Factory for plastic pipe production and Akdağ Factory, a leader in rock wool production.
Additionally, in the same year, we expanded into importing seasonal demand products in Iraq, such as carpets , which see high demand at the beginning of winter, and plastic mats, which are in high demand at the start of summer. Meanwhile, we continued our core operations in importing food products, biscuits, and chocolate.
The diversification of our activities in 2024 had a significant impact on the growth of our sales. Within just one year, we successfully positioned ourselves as a reputable company in the market and achieved key milestones toward becoming a leading company in multiple industries.
Future Plans
Our strategic goal in the coming years is to strengthen our brand presence in the Iraqi market within a short period. We aim to expand our trade volume in our current business sectors and plan to double our operations in 2025.
